Tech2.com India gives a list of five hot Web2.0 apps worthy of mention for those of us looking to be more productive with new technologies. I mention this only because I set up #1 on the list, Basecamp, for use by our John Ben Snow research team (headed by Pamela J. Shoemaker) at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University.

We use Basecamp to manage all of our projects, including conference and journal papers, experiments, office and administration projects, and as a way to create a private area for hired research assistants to manage and supervise their work activities. It’s been a great success for us.
